It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Lynaun Mortenson, who tragically died in a motor vehicle accident in Colorado on Saturday. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, especially her children, and to all whose lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and love. Her son, Branlon, was also involved in the accident and is thankfully recovering at home from minor injuries.
Lynaun was an extraordinary woman—compassionate, loving, and remarkably strong. A viewing will be held at Ashley Valley Funeral Home in Vernal, Utah, on Friday, March 27, from 6 to 8 PM, with a second viewing at Rock Point Chapel, 2575 N 1500 W, on Saturday, March 28, from 9 to 9:45 AM, followed by the funeral service at 10 AM.
Though her passing leaves the world a little dimmer, Lynaun’s love and strength will continue to guide and inspire her family. As she often said, “When you stumble, make it part of the dance.” May her memory bring comfort, and may her spirit live on through the courage, compassion, and values she instilled in those she loved.
