It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Eisley, who died peacefully at his daughter’s home in Baltimore, where he had been living for the past six months. Jerry was a valued and much-loved member of Trinity Church, as well as a dear friend to many. His presence in the church community was steady and uplifting, bringing encouragement, compassion, and a strong sense of faith to everyone he encountered. For many years, he served as Artist in Residence, sharing his creativity and vision in ways that enriched the church and inspired countless individuals. His work and welcoming nature left a lasting impression on all who experienced them.
Beyond his artistic talents, Jerry was admired for his generosity, kindness, and genuine warmth. He had a unique gift for making people feel comfortable and valued, whether through his hospitality or his sincere interest in their lives. His creativity extended far beyond his art—it was reflected in the meaningful connections he built, the ideas he nurtured, and the vibrant spirit he brought to the community he loved so deeply.
Jerry’s passing leaves a deep sense of loss, felt not only within Trinity Church but also among those whose lives he touched both near and far. Even so, his legacy continues through the relationships he formed, the faith he shared, and the inspiration he gave to so many people.
