The Crete Township community is in mourning following the tragic deaths of Jake Lambert, 32, Drew Lambert, 55, and Stacy Oezer Forde, 54, who lost their lives in a devastating incident early Monday morning, March 23, 2026.

According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a welfare check around 2 a.m. at a residence on the 3400 block of East Norway Trail.
